Anvil Into Hammer
is a full-service production company. Whether you're starting with an
idea or a script, before or after principle photography, we have the people,
skills and equipment needed to take your feature, short, music video,
commercial, or industrial from concept to screen. We have developed a
working relationship with each of the major rental houses and some of
the best and most respected professionals in the Bay Area, as well as
the S.F. Film Commission.
Pre-Production
Services
From the very inception of your idea, we use our own writers for the development
and editing of your concept. AIH can provide formatting, scheduling, breakdown,
and storyboarding services using industry standard software. Producers,
assistant directors, production managers and coordinators are on staff
to help organize and prepare your movie for production. We offer location
and permit services as well as negotiated rental agreements with local
and Los Angeles-based camera, grip and lighting rental houses.
Production Services
On-staff directors, cinematographers, grips and electricians ensure that
all your production needs are met, and that every department runs smoothly.
In addition
to crew, we also provide the following services and equipment:
- Multiple PAL/NTSC digital camera packages with professional ENG lenses
- 16mm sync sound film camera package
- Professional super-8mm camera package
- DAT/hard disk sound recording
- High-quality digital and 35mm production stills
- DVD dailies
Post-Production
Services
Our editorial department can provide post supervisors, editors and assistant
editors to take your film all the way through the difficult off-line process
of picture cutting. 24p, 25p, 50i, and 60i editing as well as AVID's renowned
matchback technology allows for effective off-line editing, capable of
being on-lined anywhere.

- Two AVID Xpress Pro HD editing suites complete with DVCAM/mini DV decks
and Sony broadcast monitors
- Final Cut Pro editing suite
